Web Desk for India

Mismatched season 2, which continues up after Dimple and Rishi’s turbulent breakup, is the only Indian Netflix original scheduled for 14, October. The coming-of-age drama that tackles identity difficulties, bullying, mental health, and other themes that worry the minds of young adults is directed by Akarsh Khurana of TVF Tripling fame.

However, whether romantic or platonic, relationships are the main subject and are all influenced by Sandhya Menon’s 2017 book “When Dimple Met Rishi.” Of course, San Francisco was replaced in season 1 with the bustling metropolis of Jaipur, but the basic themes stayed the same.

The whole second season of Mismatched will be exclusively accessible on Netflix worldwide starting on October 14 at 12:30.

Cast And Plot
Prajakta Kohli reprises her role as Dimple Ahuja, who has broken all links with Rishi and is still irate over the disclosure of the source code for her programme AntiSosh.

She is still preoccupied with the source code leak even as she tries to salvage her project. As the final few weeks of college get difficult and she is forced to watch her “ex-lover” date someone else, she begins to fill her days with activities.

The second part of Mismatched aims to address LGBTQ+ problems as it continues Namrata’s (Devyani Shorey) tale, which was publicly revealed and “shamed” for exhibiting attraction to women.

Samat has advanced significantly both as an actor and in terms of the development of his character. Watching him develop into the kind of guy you hope Dimple chooses is a delight. Zeenat’s actress Vidya Malvade also merits special notice for her portrayal of the senior millennial attempting to blend into the Gen Z environment. In the chaotic jumble of feelings that permeate the episodes, the actor is a dependable character.

Prajakta Kohli and Rohit Saraf, who play our “non-dates,” are in a battle of revenge to see who will break down in tears first.

The series had a thrilling and dramatic conclusion that kept the viewers guessing and piqued their interest in what might happen next.
