In a recent interview, Saif honestly voiced his thoughts about Vikram Vedha’s performance, as well as the terrible response that Bollywood films have received at the box office.
Vikram Vedha, which was made on a large budget of Rs. 100 crores, only made Rs. 80 crores at the domestic box office. While the film was expected to do well due to the star-studded cast of Saif Ali Khan and Hrithik Roshan, as well as mass appeal, The film fell short of expectations in areas such as action and item numbers. In response, Saif Ali Khan was cited as saying in a recent interview with CNBC-TV18, “The reason we should be very kind to each other is that nobody knows what works and what doesn’t work.”

We pay individuals exorbitant salaries, yet the returns have been poor.” The actor also stated that people must earn a certain amount of money to be able to invest in seeing these flicks.
Saif Ali Khan’s planned projects include Adipurush, a Ramayana-inspired ambitious production starring Prabhas and Kriti Sanon, which will see him next as Lankeshwar aka Raavan. Om Raut’s film is scheduled to be released in June 2023.
